Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is looking forward to reuniting with old strike partner Peter Crouch.
The duo are on the verge of re-living their Portsmouth days when Crouch completes his transfer to White Hart Lane and Defoe is excited about the prospect.
"I have always said that Crouchy is a great player and he is someone who will score goals," said Defoe.
"If you bring someone like that into the club it is only going to help. I have played with him for a number of years and I love playing with him.
"We have got a lot of fantastic players at the club and I'm sure everyone will look forward to him coming in.
"We play a bit differently away from home and I think bringing Crouchy in will help us."
