Tottenham continue to discuss moving for Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham are monitoring Scunthorpe goalkeeper Sam Slocombe. The 23-year-old has kept nine clean sheets in 26 appearances this season.

Spurs remain keen on Newcastle's Krul as their main target with Carlo Cudicini and Heurelho Gomes expected to leave in the summer, while Brad Friedel will be 41 next season.
