Tottenham are showing serious interest in signing Braga defender David Carmo this summer.

The 22-year-old has impressed this season, after suffering a serious injury last term.

Several top European sides are running the rule over Carmo at present.

According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, Spurs are already negotiating with Braga in the hopes of securing Carmo.

Borussia Dortmund are also being linked with the towering, left-sided centre-back's signature.

Carmo is likely to move to a club where he can see a viable path to playing regular first-team football.
