Tottenham are lining up a swap offer for Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca.
The People says Tottenham are hot-on-the-heels of Bacca.
Leading figures from the club's recruitment staff were in southern Spain last week to see the Columbia forward play against Celta Vigo.
At the age of 28, Bacca has been a late developer but has hit form in the past couple of seasons with Club Bruges and now Seville.
He has scored a goal every other game in La Liga and Spurs would be open to a part-exchange with Roberto Soldado.
That could help solve one problem for Mauricio Pochettino as he looks to re-shape his squad during the transfer window.
