Brighton defender Lewis Dunk is a January target for Tottenham.
The Daily Mail says Harry Redknapp's right-hand men Joe Jordan and Clive Allen ran the rule over the 19-year-old in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw at Millwall.
Dunk has earned rave reviews for his performances for Gus Poyet's side during Brighton's return to the Championship this season and he is close to his first England Under 21 call-up.
Tottenham's decision to dispatch two of the club's most senior coaches to watch Dunk on Tuesday illustrates how highly they rate the teenager.
But the White Hart Lane club are likely to face stiff competition for his signature, with Arsenal and Manchester City also watching Dunk this season.
