Tottenham are pushing to sign Napoli defender Raul Albiol.
RAI Sport says Spurs hope to bring Albiol to London next month.
Talks have begun between Tottenham and Napoli for a January deal for the 29-year-old.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will also be eager to boost Tottenham's defensive options as the future of Jan Vertonghen remains unclear.
