Tottenham are closing on a deal for Sporting Lisbon fullback Miguel Lopes.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham have been offered Sporting right-back Lopes as Mauricio Pochettino looks to push on in the transfer market.
The 27-year-old will be allowed out on loan with view to a permanent deal at White Hart Lane.
Lopes spent last season on loan at Lyon, making only 16 appearances before returning to Lisbon at the end of the season.
Spurs are thought to have beaten off a number of competitors for his signature by meeting his high wage demands.
