Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is ready to slap in a bid for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McCarthy.
The Daily Star says talented McCarthy helped Wigan win the FA Cup - but they were relegated from the Premier League.
The ball-playing midfielder, 22, could be available for around £10m.
