Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is planning a sensational swap bid for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Redknapp has rekindled his bid to bring former Arsenal striker Adebayor to Tottenham in a sensational swap for Aaron Lennon.
Adebayor is out of favour at Manchester City but his £170,000-a-week wages were preventing a move to White Hart Lane.
Even a loan move was proving too expensive for Spurs but, says the Daily Mirror, Redknapp could get his man if he lets England winger Lennon leave for the Etihad Stadium.
