Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is set to make an offer for Espanyol striker Pablo Osvaldo.
The Mirror says Redknapp is ready to launch a £14milion bid for Osvaldo.
Espanyol have decided to sell the 25-year-old, and Osvaldo's agent, Dario Decoud, has been given the green light to set up a deal.
Tottenham are facing competition from Atletico Madrid, but Redknapp is hopeful of winning the race to land him after the Spanish club tabled an offer of around £11m.
It has left Spurs in the driving seat and Redknapp believes he can land the Argentina-born forward.
