Tottenham keeper Cudicini would welcome Benitez, Capello

Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini says an experienced manager would be a good fit at White Hart Lane.

The 38-year-old shot-stopper said AVB faced tough competition from former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez and ex-England head coach Fabio Capello to Spurs.

"(Rafa) Benitez did very well in England as coach of Liverpool and he knows English football very well," said Cudicini.

"However, it's obvious that many names have been brought up because Tottenham are one of the most important Premier League clubs."

And Cudicini told Radio Kiss Kiss on Thursday: "(Fabio) Capello to Tottenham would make me very happy.

"I played under him at AC Milan when I was young and he won so much with the senior team. He would bring experience and knowledge into the side."
