Sports Illustrated suggests that Carlo Cudicini is close to signing a two-year contract with LA Galaxy.
The 39-year old Tottenham goalkeeper has been linked with the MLS champions recently but there has been further speculation that he has already agreed a deal with more details to be finalised before it becomes official.
LA were believed to be keen on Chivas USA's Dan Kennedy but the Goats are keen to keep the 30-year old, forcing the back-to-back title winners to go after former Chelsea, AC Milan and Lazio gloveman Cudicin who is behind American veteran Brad Friedel and France number on Hugo Lloris at White Hart Lane.
