Tottenham remain interested in Bordeaux striker Fernando Cavenaghi.
The Argentina international is unsettled at the French club and could move in January for around £12 million.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is chasing a new striker and has been recommended Cavenaghi by the club's French scouts.
