Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is attempting to bring former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll to White Hart Lane.

It is believed a bargain deal is in the pipeline with Derby County keen to get Carroll off their payroll.

The figure of £250,000 has been mooted by Spurs officials.
