Tottenham and Liverpool have both lodged bids for Fulham's attacking midfielder Dempsey according to recent reports.
The Reds have been linked with the USA international for most of the summer whilst Spurs are late on the scene after signing Dempsey's ex-Cottagers teammate Moussa Dembele this week.
Aston Villa bid for the Texan earlier today but he rejected their overtures with Liverpool and Tottenham now making direct contact with Fulham regarding a potential transfer.
