Tottenham have joined the race for West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.
The Mirror says Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has made an enquiry for West Ham's wantaway Upson.
Manchester City and Aston Villa have also made approaches for the England defender, 29, who is likely to be sold by the hardup Hammers this month.
Despite his interest, Redknapp is unlikely to match the spending power of City and Villa, who could meet the £12million asking price for Upson.
