Tottenham are preparing a £10 million bid for Genoa striker Diego Milito.
The Sun says Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp was in Italy on Sunday to see Milito, 29, score in Genoa's 2-0 win against Udinese.
And Redknapp has seen enough of the powerful targetman to convince him to make a firm bid.
Milito was also a target for former Spurs boss Juande Ramos when Real Zaragoza were looking to sell the player last summer.
But Spurs refused to meet Zaragoza's £14m asking price and the player eventually returned to former club Genoa for a cut-price £10m.
Now Redknapp wants to revive the deal and believes Milito can be lured to White Hart Lane to take over from Darren Bent and Roman Pavlyuchenko.
