The Daily Mail says Tottenham are close to securing a deal for Juventus striker Amauri, who will move to north London in January.

The Brazilian-born Italy international has fallen out of favour at the Turin giants and is currently on loan at Parma.

Reports in Europe suggest the 31-year-old powerhouse forward will sign a three-year deal at Spurs, worth £35,000 per week.
