Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe is keen to secure his club's Premier League survival when the Black Cats take on Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Defoe is unlikely to get the warmest of welcomes at the Emirates Stadium, having spent almost a decade at the Gunners' North London foes Tottenham.
Defoe admitted getting the point Sunderland need to guarantee safety be even sweeter if it came at the home of his old rivals.
"It would be perfect," said Defoe.
"The North London derbies were always great and to go there with Sunderland and get a point or three would be amazing.
"Everyone is feeling confident and it would be massive to get a point at the Emirates because the lads have worked so hard.
"It is a tough game on paper but you never know and if we get what we need before the last game everyone can relax."
