Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has no problem with the Euros being postponed until 2021.

Lloris feels it was the right decision given the tournament will be staged in multiple countries.

He told Le Parisien: "This competition had been in the back of our mind for several months. When we are competitors, we want to compete in this type of event with the Les Bleus jersey.

"In view of the expansion, first of all, in Italy, one of the host countries, of the epidemic, postponement was the only responsible alternative. There is a window in 2021, an odd year. So much the better. Hoping that by then things will return to normal."
