Tottenham could try again for Porto ace Joao Moutinho today.
The Daily Mail says Spurs could come back in for Portugal midfielder Moutinho after the third party involved in his ownership rights had their share in the player bought out by his club Porto.
Spurs saw a £20million move for Moutinho collapse on deadline day in August because the Premier League bans third-party ownership.
Moutinho is expected to depart Porto in the summer with Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas at the head of the queue for his signature but today's developments leave the door open for a move right now.
He is understood to be keen to be reunited with Villas-Boas - his former boss at Porto.
The former Sporting Lisbon man is also attracting interest from Russian clubs but would prefer a move to the Barclays Premier League.
