Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker felt he proved his fitness in victory at Swansea City.
It was Walker's second start since being injured in March.
He was in direct competition with Swansea's flying winger Jefferson Montero and having dealt with that threat throughout, showed his fitness with a number of drives forward later in the game as he completed 90 minutes.
"It couldn't have gone any better really," he told the Spurs website. "Montero is probably the quickest I've come up against and after nine months out, you don't really need that!
"I thought I did okay, so credit to the fitness coaches who have got me back into good shape. Hopefully it's a stepping stone in the right direction."
