Tottenham's England fullback Kyle Walker says he's living in the moment.
Walker is revelling in the opportunities for Tottenham and England.
He told the Sunday Mirror: "There are a lot worse things I could be doing. Without being disrespectful, and having grown up on a council estate, I could be stacking shelves in a supermarket. I just don't see where the pressure is pulling on the national shirt in front of the country's supporters.
"I would rather embrace what I have and not feel suffocated by nerves and the expectations of people I can't control.
"And I think you can say the same for the likes of Jack Rodwell, Danny Welbeck and Phil Jones, who have come through the Under-21s.
"We don't have the history with England, we are just living in the moment and enjoying it.
"If I felt the pressure was suffocating me I wouldn't be able to perform. The manager has put his faith in you, so my responsibility is to perform for him and ensure I do enough to keep my place in the side.
"My attitude towards it all is just enjoy it and make the most of it. Perhaps it's reflective of my age and the younger players in general.
"But I would never look at playing for England as a burden or feel I'm weighed down by pressure I can't control. I put myself under enough pressure. I don't need to embrace pressure I can't control."
