Tottenham are turning to Juventus striker Fernando Llorente in their search for a new centre-forward.
Spurs chief Franco Baldini has been working the Italian transfer market this month as he seeks a new striker signing for Mauricio Pochettino's squad.
Baldini has been in talks with Sassuolo for much of the year about Simone Zaza, but with the young forward now favouring Juventus, he has switched his sights to Llorente.
Juve could be persuaded to part with Llorente, now in his second season in Italy, after the emergence of Alvaro Morata this term.
With Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor set to be offloaded by Tottenham this summer, the money raised will go to finding a new centre-forward with Llorente high on the agenda.
