Tottenham fullback Pascal Chimbonda has been fined for his fit of pique during Sunday's Carling Cup final.

The Guardian says he was fined a week's wages by the club yesterday as punishment for his strop upon being substituted.

While he snubbed shaking hands with coach Juande Ramos, what infuriated the coach was the length of time he took to leave the field. Urgency was the order of the day as Tottenham trailed 1-0.
