Tottenham face Turkish competition for Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.

The Daily Mail says the Senegalese international, who has a bargain £7million release clause, is wanted right across Europe after a stellar campaign, during which he scored 16 goals.

Tottenham are leading a host of Premier League clubs in pursuit of Ba, but the player has also held discussions with Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
