Mauricio Pochettino has identified a new striker as a position Tottenham needs to fill ahead of the new season.
Spurs were forced to play youngster Harry Kane for almost the entire Audi Cup clash with Real Madrid in warm conditions in Munich on Tuesday which prompted the Argentine to suggest the north London cluyb must scour the market for another attacker.
"It is true," Pochettino said after former Spurs star Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez scored in Real's 2-0 win.
"We have Harry and maybe we need to bring another striker in."
Tottenham, who kick off the 2015/16 season with a trip to Manchester United on Saturday, have recently been linked with a move for Red Devils striker Javier Hernandez.
