Tottenham are edging closer to landing Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Sport says Real coach Manuel Pellegrini isn't counting on Huntelaar for next season and will encourage him to find a new club.

Tottenham have held talks with Real about Huntelaar, along with fellow fringe players Arjen Robben and Gaby Heinze, this week.
