Tottenham are now believed to be the frontrunners for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot.
The 19-year old midfielder was attracting the interests of Arsenal during the summer and he has continued to be linked with the north London club ever since but reports suggests he could be on his way to arch rivals Spurs.
It has emerged that PSG only want to loan out the France U21 international while the Gunners were keen to bring him to the Emirates Stadium on a permanent deal.
If Rabiot does head to White Hart Lane for the remainder of the season, it would come in between a merry-go-round of midfield moves at Parc des Princes which could see Moussa Sissoko arrive from Newcastle United and Thiago Motta depart for AC Milan.
