Bordeaux hitman Marouane Chamakh is a £5 million target for Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.

The Sun says Redknapp has targeted the French ace who plays as a support striker.

Redknapp has been tracking Chamakh, 24, for a while and expressed his interest in January. But Bordeaux decided not to cash in on one of their prized assets.

North London rivals Arsenal have also watched Chamakh, who wants a move to England.
