Tottenham have demanded compensation over Scott Parker's injury setback suffered during the Euros.
The Sunday Mirror says Tottenham have made a claim for compensation over Parker's Achilles injury that was suffered during Euro 2012, which could hit £500,000.
Parker is scheduled to undergo an operation on Wednesday and Spurs believe it will take the 31-year-old around six weeks to recover, meaning he would not return in time for the Moldova game on September 7 or the Ukraine clash four days later.
Spurs will not allow England boss Hodgson or the FA to take any further risks over Parker's fitness in September.
Club sources have confirmed a claim for compensation is being made, which could be split between the FA and FIFA's insurance policies.
Between them, the FIFA and FA policies would reimburse Parker's £70,000-a-week wages to Tottenham for the period of time he is out injured.
