Tottenham defender Matt Doherty was happy to get on the scoresheet for victory at Crystal Palace.

Doherty scored in the 4-0 win on Wednesday night.

He said at the final whistle: "Palace away is not an easy game I thought we started the first 10-15 minutes quite well and then they kind of took over.

"But, look we in the game managed to through to half time, it was very important that we didn't concede first as we know what our record has been like lately.

"But it just goes to show that when we do score first the confidence starts to fly out of everybody and it kind of shows what we our capable of."
