Tottenham remain locked in talks for Rangers fullback Alan Hutton.

Hutton is still wavering over his move and played and scored for Rangers in their 6-0 win over East Stirling last night.

After the game, assistant manager Ally McCoist insisted the Scottish international defender was "going nowhere" but, according to the London Evening Standard, Spurs are confident that a third bid of £8m will be enough to finally get their man.
