Tottenham's reshaping of their squad continued on Wednesday as they confirmed the sale of Lewis Holtby to Hamburg.
Holtby, who only signed for Spurs in 2013, spent last season on loan at the German club helping them survive relegation and has now made a permanent move to the Volksparkstadion
Despite having another two years remaining on his contract at White Hart Lane, Holtby had failed to hold down a place in the Spurs line-up and was loaned to Fulham for the end of the 2013/14 season, before being sent out to Hamburg.
Spurs continue to reshape having sold midfielder Paulinho to Guangzhou Evergrande earlier this week and hope to be able to sell several other first team players including Aaron Lennon, Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.
