Tottenham have confirmed the sale of Vedran Corluka to Lokomotiv Moscow.

A move this summer had been anticipated and Lokomotiv made their move this week under new head coach Slaven Bilic, who was coach of Croatia for six years before stepping down after their elimination from Euro 2012.

"We have reached agreement with Lokomotiv Moscow for the transfer of Vedran Corluka," Tottenham said in a statement on their website.

"We wish Vedran all the best for the future."
