Gylfi Sigurdsson has agreed personal terms and passed a medical at Tottenham with a move expected to be announced soon.
The 22-year old Iceland international midfielder is likely to officially be a Spurs player next week according to Sky Sports after turning down proposed moves to Swansea City and Liverpool.
The Hoffenheim man spent the second part of last season on loan with the Swans and was set to join permanently before manager Brendan Rodgers departed for Liverpool. The Reds were then keen on finalising a deal but Spurs intervened and are now on the verge of securing Sigurdsson's services.
