Tottenham aren't panicking over losing Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen.
The Mirror says Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had detailed discussions with Vertonghen last week.
And he is convinced that the player will be at White Hart Lane next season.
All that needs to be agreed is the fee with the Dutch champions. They are looking for £13 million for Vertonghen but Levy believes that is excessive for a player who has just one year left on his contract.
Spurs have valued the player at around £9m.
