Tottenham captain Lloris: We're getting naughty under Mourinho

Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris feels they're finding a sharper edge to their game under manager Jose Mourinho.

Lloris says the players have responded to Mourinho's demands last season to become nastier on the pitch.

Ahead of today's opener against Everton, the goalkeeper said, "It doesn't mean outside the field you are not a good guy but when you are on the field you have to do everything.

"And everything means also having this personality to be naughty, to get the winning taste. But that's not enough. You need a plan, talent and team spirit."

Spurs potentially face nine matches this month if they progress in the Europa League against Lokomotiv Plovdiv, including four games in one week.

Lloris said: "We have to adapt to the schedule. And care about our team-mates — being together, being strong with our manager and staff."
