Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris says the players believe manager Jose Mourinho can lead them to title glory.
Lloris and his pals are happy to put their faith in the man at the tiller as they bid to sustain their fine start and mount their challenge in what appears to be the most open season since 2015-16.
Lloris said, “He's a winner. His motivation every day is to win and try to share this approach with his players and try to bring everyone in the same way.
“Last season was a difficult one. It was like a transition between the Mauricio Pochettino time and the new era with Jose and this season, even if it's a strange season with a short time to prepare the season, we understand the demands and we just try to go game by game.
“We have a competitive squad, we have a lot of talented players in the squad and then the only answer is to show it on the field.
“Every time we need to show we are a competitive team, we have to do it, like it was against Manchester City, like it was against Chelsea, like it will be in the next game."
