Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris has rejected English press claims that he's France's weakest link.

It's been claimed by English pundits that Lloris should be targeted in tomorrow's World Cup quarterfinal.

Asked about the attack from opposition media, Lloris said: "Not in a press conference, not through the media.

"The most important thing is the ground. We ignore all that. You don't necessarily need motivation from outside for a World Cup quarter-final.

"They have their opinion, we will have to respond on the ground."
