Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas was delighted with Christian Eriksen's debut in victory over Norwich City.
The 21 year-old Dane was outstanding in his first Premier League appearance.
"I'm happy for Christian because it's always difficult to play your first game in the Premier League," AVB told the club's website.
"He used all his experience - although he's so young - to take the team forward and link up the game for us. (It was) a good performance as well.
"He knows how to position himself and found the gaps between Norwich that allowed us to link the game.
"It was an excellent performance for a player who has just arrived."
