Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas remains determined to find buyers for Emmanuel Adebayor and Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
The Daily Mail says Adebayor was offered to Real Madrid as part of the Gareth Bale deal, and Spurs are also willing to trade left back Assou-Ekotto after his mysterious disappearance from first-team training.
He is out of the picture under Villas-Boas, losing his place to 23-year-old defender Danny Rose in the opening weeks of the season.
