Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood is being linked with Alan Pardew's job at Newcastle United. The Daily Mail says outgoing Tottenham boss Sherwood and former St James' Park favourite Les Ferdinand are among those being considered to take over if owner Mike Ashley pulls the trigger.
Ashley, currently holidaying in Florida and thereby missing all the flak directed at Pardew associated with five defeats in a row, must either stick with his friend Pardew and back him in the transfer market or appease supporters by putting a new man in charge.
