Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp won't rule out making a big-name signing next month.
Spurs made a series of audacious bids to sign Diego Forlan, Sergio Aguero and Fernando Llorente in January last year and although he is happy with his current squad, Redknapp thinks chairman Daniel Levy would give him the funds to land a marquee signing in January if he felt it necessary.
The Spurs boss said: "If someone came along who we felt was special, someone who could make the difference, I think we would go for him.
"The chairman would back me all the way if it was someone who we felt could take us that extra little bit forward."
