Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp can't believe how poor England's players were at the World Cup.
Sunday's emphatic 4-1 loss to Germany came after they struggled through a group considered to be one of the easiest at the tournament.
Patriotic Redknapp stormed: "We were average against the USA, and they have got players like Jay DeMerit from Watford and Carlos Bocanegra who was let go by Fulham.
"Landon Donovan did OK at Everton but I don't think David Moyes will be rushing back to sign him.
"In the next game against Algeria we were disgusting.
"They were much better than us.
"We did better against Slovenia but what a poor team they were.
"They would struggle to survive in the Championship.
"Against Germany, we had a good spell for 15 minutes but, overall, their football was on another level to ours."
