Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he's seeking out Chelsea players for advice on a new midfield signing.
Redknapp has already shown an interest in Sandro, a 20-year-old Brazil international playing for Porto Alegre-based club Internacional.
But the former Portsmouth boss says he has well-placed spies to help him hunt out talent closer to home.
"If I was looking for a player from Chelsea, I would speak to young Frank (Lampard) or Joe Cole," Redknapp told the London Evening Standard.
"If I was looking for somebody from Liverpool, Jamie would speak to Carragher or Gerrard for me.
"I am happy with the squad. The only area we are short of a body is central midfield.
"I have got Wilson (Palacios), Tom (Huddlestone) and JJ (Jermaine Jenas): only three central midfield players, but that is not enough."
