Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says he's delighted to be in charge at White Hart Lane.
Speaking at the club's AGM on Monday, Redknapp said: "I know an awful lot about this football club. I know the traditions of this football club.
"As a 12-year-old I came here to meet Bill Nicholson outside these gates. I used to come and watch every game as a school boy. I came training on Tuesday and Thursday nights here. The tradition of this football club is fantastic.
"I turned down the opportunity to manage Newcastle. I nearly went but decided not to - this was the only job I would have moved away from Portsmouth for at that stage. It was a great opportunity for me to come here."
