Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp insists they won't pay "silly money" for signings next month.

"We are not going to dive in and pay silly money for players, the chairman won't do that," said Redknapp.

"We have just got to wait and see. If people ask extortionate fees for players we are interested in then we won't sign anybody."
