Tottenham boss Redknapp: Lennon WILL play against Real Madrid

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says Aaron Lennon will be fit for the Champions League return leg clash with Real Madrid.

Redknapp had to play diplomat after last week's absence and Lennon was not involved against Stoke but the Spurs boss says he is confident he will play on Wednesday.

Redknapp also insists he will go all-out attack against Real Madrid as he says they have not given up despite being 4-0 down.

Redknapp said: "Aaron was not well again on Friday. He was not well enough to play against Stoke. He did some work on Friday with the fitness coach and then joined in with a little game but he did not feel well enough.

"Of course I care about him, I think he will be fit enough to play on Wednesday. The crowd already know that on Wednesday we will give it a hell of a go.

"But they can pick you off if you aren't careful because Ronaldo can pick up the ball and run 80 yards with it and you think: 'Oh, My God.'

"I have nothing to wipe away, the Champions League has been fantastic for us. We have brought Champions League football to White Hart Lane. That was my only aim.

"Listen, Real Madrid might have beat us 4-0 with 11 men, they are capable of doing something like that. Them and Barca are the two teams to beat I have said it all along.

"Real Madrid have dangerous players, fantastic players...I mean... £80million for Ronaldo... they paid that for him. Ozil, Di Maria absolute quality."
