Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is pleased his start striker Jermain Defoe is available for this weekend's home clash with Sunderland.
The England international has served a three-match ban and will more than likely be brought straight back into Redknapp's starting line-up which is great news for the manager.
"Defoe has been in incredible form this year. Suddenly we miss him for three games. It's cost us dearly when he got sent off at Portsmouth," said Redknapp.
In other Spurs news, centre-half Sebastien Bassong is expected to miss with a hamstring injury as Jonathan Woodgate could return after missing last week.
"He (Woodgate) has been pretty unlucky against Stoke to take a bang," said Spurs assistant boss Joe Jordan on Sky Sports News. "He'll be back in contention."
